Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has expressed concern over comments made by Ko Wen-je, Taiwan People’s Party presidential candidate, stating that they could potentially harm Taiwan’s diplomatic relationships and lead to misunderstandings. The Central Weather Administration predicts that Typhoon Bolaven will intensify into a moderate typhoon on Monday, October 9, potentially becoming a severe typhoon as it moves northward.
